Ellen Chetwynd, PhD

Lactation Consultant, Researcher, Speaker, Writer

I am a lactation consultant and researcher, driven to contribute meaningful ideas to the practice of lactation consulting.

Teaching Babies to Nurse

Teaching Babies to Nurse is a set of advanced lactation assessment and treatment tools. These techniques are founded on the understanding that babies are smart, adaptive and believe that what they are doing is correct. They are informed by the integration of lactation consulting with cranio-sacral therapy.

With Teaching Babies to Nurse, I am committed to using these tools to help breastfeeding families as well as sharing them with other professionals through:

  • Workshops

  • Presentations

  • Research collaborations

  • Writing
